Leadership

Ruth Wheelwright
Owner & President
Ruth leads Wheelwright Group’s vision, strategy, and day-to-day operations, carrying forward the family legacy that began more than sixty years ago. A Civil Engineering Technologist graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), she worked her way through nearly every role in the company, from drafting and estimating to client relations, before becoming President in the mid-1990s.
Her leadership is hands-on and people-focused. She ensures every project reflects Wheelwright’s core values of trust, predictability, and transparency, while keeping clients informed and projects running cleanly and safely. Ruth remains deeply involved in the Caledon business community and is a recognized advocate for responsible industrial development across Ontario.
John Bosco
General Manager
John joined Wheelwright Group in 2008 and has served as General Manager and executive-team member ever since. With a background in diversified corporate operations, he brings the structure, systems, and foresight needed to keep a multi-site construction firm running smoothly.
He oversees financial management, performance alignment, and project delivery — making sure the company’s reputation for honesty and precision is reflected in every build. Known for his pragmatic and direct communication style, John believes in clarity, accountability, and follow-through.
When other firms talk about “value engineering,” John makes sure it means value delivered, not value promised.

Peter Neumann
Senior Project Manager
Peter began his career with Wheelwright Group in 1985 and has since become one of the most trusted leaders on-site. With over thirty years of experience across industrial and commercial construction, he’s the bridge between design intent and field execution.
He coordinates complex projects, manages logistics, and ensures subcontractors and trades align with the company’s high standards for safety and quality. Known for his decisiveness, precision, and integrity, Peter embodies Wheelwright’s commitment to doing things right, every time.

Mark Nowak
Project manager
Mark joined our team in 2021 and has become a integral part of Wheelwright Group. In his role as Project Manager, Mark acts as a liaison between office and field staff. Mark supports all phases of the construction process to ensure smooth coordination and execution.
A graduate of the Civil Engineering Technology program at McMaster University, Mark combines his technical education with hands-on project experience to help deliver high-quality industrial and commercial steel building projects. Detail-oriented and dependable, he plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, quality, and accountability on every build.
